On March 18, 2025 the ”Peace Street” was opened in the Corridor space of Casa Zemstvei cultural center - a joint initiative of the artist Tatiana Fiodorova-Lefter and the activist Vitalie Sprinceana.
On March 29, 2025, at 6 pm, we invite you to a discussion with the participation of Tatiana Fiodorova-Lefter, Lilia Nenescu, Vitalie Sprinceana and Ovidiu Tichindeleanu, which will finalize the war photography exhibition ”Front” program.
"By opening Peace Street, we are creating a space to assert our right to peace and offer support in these difficult times. Is it possible today to continue to talk about peace and aspire to its realization in the face of ongoing neo-colonial and imperialist wars? Is it possible today to be pacifists and aspire to peace? Today, when aggression, violence and absurdity are becoming part of our surrounding world, and war is turning into the 'peace' of our everyday reality, is it possible to create a liminal space for peace? A space as a rift between the present and the future, a moment, a place where we can develop peaceful practices, create new forms of solidarity and mutual understanding, where we can find ways to overcome violence and destruction, paving the way for a peaceful future."
