Description
The National Art Museum keeps one of the most valuable collections of religious art in Moldova. It contains about 1000 works, most of them being icons, old books and objects belonging to religious rituals. The collection offers a wide view on the development of iconographic art in the 16th – 19th centuries in Moldova.
