Description
For the first time, we’ll be performing at the Ungheni Cultural Center to celebrate the last day of October, starting at 7 PM! Let’s meet eyes that may not have been seen before at our festival!
There’s a Romanian saying: “Out of sight, out of mind.” But with us, it’s going to be just the opposite. Even though we’ll be parting ways with you, our amazing audience in Ungheni, we won’t forget your smiles and glances. And not just because we’ll have photos as memories, but because we hope to bring a sparkle to your eyes — that light that appears when you like something, when you're enchanted, when you feel the connection and magic of the moment.
But before all that, we still need to meet!
As for the performers, here’s who you can look forward to:
- The "Fitzroy Quartet," formed in 2015 when all four members were studying at the Royal Academy of Music. Since then, they’ve won numerous awards, the latest being from the Tunnel Trust for the 2019-2020 season. The quartet regularly performs across the UK and Europe at prestigious festivals, including several shows at Wigmore Hall.
- Marcel Lazăr will be on piano, the founder of Moldo Crescendo and a talented pianist who’s been playing classical music since the age of seven.
So, what’s on the program?
- Haydn’s String Quartet, Op. 76, No. 3
- “Strum” by Jessie Montgomery
- “Entr'acte” by Caroline Shaw
- Piano Quintet by Robert Schumann
We’d like to thank Ungheni City Hall and the Cultural Center for helping make this concert possible. See you on October 31st at 7 PM in Ungheni!
And let’s not forget to be all eyes and ears, just as the 9th edition of our festival reminds us.
